All in a Name

Readers have been AWESOME with feedback (THANK YOU GUYS!!) and a common suggestion has been: change the title.

I want you to know: I’m hearing you!

Stolen by an ALIEN is what I’d like to change it to (with each book in the series getting similarly titled, i.e. Rescued by an ALIEN (Zadeon’s story), and Captured by… and so on, so forth)

I’m only hesitating because others who have gone before me say that readers get notified of a new book, are EXCITED for the new release… only to be disappointed that it’s the same book they already have.

On the other hand, I don’t want to inhibit sales (check out how many reviews say they almost passed on it) by keeping the current title either.

I could wait to retitle for the day Zadeon’s is published – but will people check in for the new, and…

Decisions, decisions.

…I think the argument for changing the title now is the best option, and when I do I’ll add another blog post to PublicServiceAnnouncement/explain: NOT NEW BOOK, JUST RENAMED, and I’ll add that in all the places I can to hopefully, hopefully avoid confusion and feelings of letdown when you see Zadeon’s book isn’t up yet.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS!!!

How Readers Nearly Killed Me

How Readers Nearly Killed Me

So I went to visit ABDUCTED, AUCTIONED, & STOLEN BY AN ALIEN and…

THERE ARE ALREADY REVIEWS!!

I nearly fell out of my chair.

(For those that are waiting with bated breath; that was it.  Nearly falling is basically almost dying, in case you weren’t sure.)

Ohhhh, I could KISS each and every one of you.

(I found a .gif and was going to drop it here, but it looked just a little too creepy so I scrapped it.  But trust me.  I mean it.  SMOOCHES.

This one better captures my heartfelt appreciation:

Seriously; YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME.

And — and THIS IS AS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE AS THE FACT THAT PEOPLE TOOK THE TIME TO GO AND LEAVE A REVIEW — THEY ARE *SUCH GOOD REVIEWS*  They made ME think, and encouraged me, and HOLY CRAP

giphy

You guys.

For every author: so important. For a new author? Means the WORLD

THANK YOU SO MUCH.
